Resident Evil 9 is set to be released on February 27th, and many are already excited for the return of Leon Kennedy. Of course, as we get closer to the release of the title, there are bound to be leaks coming out. For instance, one leaker has seemingly confirmed that Resident Evil 9 will be getting DLC. On top of this, they have mentioned a few other Resident Evil titles that will be getting remakes, as well as the not-yet-announced Resident Evil 10. There are plenty of scares coming for everyone in the next few years, it seems.
Resident Evil 9 DLC and More Leaked
Dusk Golem is a fairly popular leaker in the Resident Evil community. In the past, they talked about the return of Leon, as well as whether or not other characters will be returning in Resident Evil 9. This time, the leaker is talking about upcoming content from Capcom, and it all seems very positive.
In a post on their X page, Dusk Golem stated, “No confirmed official no, but I’ve heard pretty reliably Resident Evil Requiem has DLC that’s further along in dev.” The leaker went on to say, “RE”10″ (though likely won’t be called that) is a bit shorter than usual (presuming RE10 doesn’t get delayed too, it’s right now aiming for a 2029 release date, but could be delayed to 2030, 2031 at worst, up to the whims of game dev), & DLC for RE9 has had time to cook.”
The leaker had some bonus information to share. This included some releases that have been rumored for some time. For instance, they said that the Code Veronica Remake is on its way and will be released in 2027. Along with this, there is a supposed Resident Evil Zero Remake coming in 2028. Like always, take all leaks with a grain of salt, but this lineup gives players some solid scares for the next several years.
