Capcom has revealed a fair amount about Resident Evil Requiem, and so far, we know that Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft will play the lead as dual protagonists. This is slightly different than rumors suggested months ago that said Jill Valentine would take on the role of one of the leads. With hype for the game being at an all-time high, rumors are spreading about which other characters may make an appearance. One of the main rumors is that Ada Wong will play a large part in the story, as well as Chris Redfield. Unfortunately, a popular leaker has confirmed they won’t make an appearance, at least not in “any meaningful way.”
Resident Evil Requiem Leaker Says Chris and Ada Aren’t Involved
Earlier today, popular Resident Evil leaker Dusk Golem posted about Chris and Ada’s involvement in Resident Evil Requiem on their X account. Rumors have been spreading about Chris Redfield and Ada Wong making an appearance in Requiem. Ada has famously been involved in previous Resident Evil games and is a fan-favorite character. The involvement of Leon Kennedy makes it very believable that Ada would make an appearance.
Unfortunately, the leaker stated, “I don’t believe Chris or Ada are in Resident Evil Requiem at all, either from what I’ve heard, at least in any meaningful way.” This came after many attributed the rumors to having come from Dusk Golem.
Dusk Golem also clarified that the pair could be mentioned in dialogue or in the game’s various text files you can find sprinkled throughout, but they aren’t likely to make a physical appearance in the game or play a major role.
There is always a chance the pair could make an appearance in DLC, as many of the Resident Evil games end up getting additional content after release, but no plans for their inclusion have been announced by Capcom as of yet.
