Disney Dreamlight Valley has gone through multiple updates since it was released in September of 2022. Despite a truckload of additional content having been added to the valley, there has been little to no mention of more shops coming. Well, Gameloft doesn’t need to worry about ideas for shops should they add them in the future because the community has banded together to give their thoughts on what shops they want to see. Of course, this all depends on if Gameloft wants to add more characters to the game that can fill these roles.
In a post on the official Disney Dreamlight Reddit, user Stonemadre17 compiled a list of all the shop ideas. This isn’t the first time shop ideas have been thrown around by the community. Earlier this year, there was an entire thread of players chipping in. Stonemadre17 seems to have created a list of past pitches as well as given their own. Among the many suggestions for shops in the valley are a flower shop run by Daisy Duck, a library with recipes run by Belle, a salon owned by Rapunzel, a dress boutique owned by Minnie Mouse, and another restaurant owned and operated by Tiana.
It would be amazing if Gameloft added more shops to the valley so players didn’t have to deal with Scrooge’s shop and its never-changing furniture. The only other shop in the valley currently is run by Kristoff and he only sells materials. If we could toss our own ideas into the pot, we could totally see Scrooge selling gemstones or Oaken making an appearance to sell fish. Of course, keep in mind that it could be some time before any more shops appear. The next update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will be appearing this summer and with it, Disney Dreamlight will finally become multiplayer.
