Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of, if not the, most anticipated game of 2026. Originally announced back in 2023, the game has seen multiple delays and countless rumors. It seems that every day, there is something new coming out about the title, and today, that happens to be the price. Key sites have started posting a price for Grand Theft Auto 6, and it has many concerned. This isn’t the first time that price has been brought up, and it certainly won’t be the last, as many are concerned that GTA 6 will be priced too high.

Key Sites List Grand Theft Auto Price

For a while now, many have been talking about an acceptable price for Grand Theft Auto 6. Many stand on the side that the price should not see an increase from the $70 that is standard in the market nowadays. However, some have shown that they are okay with GTA 6 receiving a price increase, with many saying upwards of $100 is acceptable for the base game – a price that is typically reserved for deluxe or ultimate editions.

A while back, Chris Stockman, Design Director of the first Saints Row, said, Not all games are created equal. I think GTA is the only one that can get away with it, and I hope they do. I really hope it’s $100. I think it deserves to be $100.” Stockman stated that the “scope and magnitude” of GTA 6 is what justified the $100 price tag.

Well, this price might be coming to fruition, as multiple key sites have posted the game for a minimum of $100. Some, like the website Loaded, have listed the game for nearly $125. This was caught by TheGTA6Informer on X.

It is important to note that no official price has been set by Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive. As of right now, the prices listed on these sites are simply placeholders, but they have sparked a reaction from fans, with the base being torn between people who are willing to pay the $125 listing various reasons they support it, and those who stand on the side of the price being too much and setting a poor standard.
