Foamstars is Square Enix’s 4v4 bubble-shooter game that is reminiscent of Nintendo’s Splatoon. This strange title allows you to use bubble blasters to build terrain that can be used to traverse the maps in interesting ways such as surfing. It can also be used to create vantage points to allow you to get the drop on your foes. With this being a new title, you might be wondering what game modes are in Foamstars. Well, there are some interesting new ways to do PvP that you might not have thought of. These modes may surprise and confuse you all at the same time. So let’s get into it. What all game modes are in Foamstars?

What game modes are in Foamstars?

At launch, Foamstars will have three game modes that you can try out with your friends. Each of these modes will feature two teams of four battling it out in an arena. Let’s break down each of the game modes and what you need to do to win in each of them.

Smash the Star

First on the list is Smash the Star. In this mode, the goal is to take out the opposing team’s “star player.” The game will start off with both teams battling it out. After knocking out several enemy players, the best player on each team will be crowned the “star player.” Once this happens, you and your allies will need to keep defeating the star player to win. Protecting your star player will result in point gains as well.

Happy Bath Survival

Next up on the list is Happy Bath Survival. In this game mode, two players on each team are placed in the arena and two are placed on the outside. The goal of this mode is to knock out the opponents in the arena. When both are knocked out, you win. The players placed outside of the arena can aid their allies inside the arena by obstructing the opponents. This mode consists of three rounds.

Rubber Duck Party

The final game mode is Rubber Duck Party. In this mode, your goal is to race to the center of the arena and fight for control of the rubber duck. With the duck, you must get it to the finish line to win. Be careful, climbing aboard will advance it to the opposition’s goal.
