Have you had a run-in with Lump the Enlightened in Baldur’s Gate 3? For an ogre, he is pretty articulate and can spin quite the sentence. He cares about getting food and is not afraid to admit that he made a deal with the goblins in the Blights Village. Play things wrong here and you could wind up as a snack for him and his allies.

There are plenty of magical items that you can get in Baldur’s Gate 3 with Lump’s War Horn being one of them. This powerful item lets you summon ogre allies into battle to help you clean up your foes. These massive creatures won’t hesitate to slaughter and eat your enemies. This guide will show you how to get the Ogre Horn in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to ally with the ogres in the Blighted Village in Baldur’s Gate 3

If you want to ally with the ogres in the Blight Village, you will need some good charisma. Lump the Enlightened and his allies can be found on the western side of the Blighted Village. Climb the rocks to get into the house and you will immediately get put into a cutscene with them.

During the conversation, you will need to make a few persuasion checks or intimidation checks to convince Lump that you should not be eaten. Make sure you don’t choose to attack him either as this will lead to a pretty difficult fight.

When the time comes, choose the dialogue option, “Forget goblins. You should be fighting for me.” This will lead to a few dialogue options with a special one if you are a Barbarian:

  1. [Barbarian] [Intimidation] How about I spare your life? That tempting enough?
  2. [Deception] 1,000 Gold – after you fight for me.
  3. [Persuasion] I’ll pay you in the flesh of the fallen – you’ll have your fill.

Any of these options will lead to a check so be sure to choose the one that is best for the character doing the speaking. We chose to intimidate Lump. If you fail, you won’t get anything but it won’t lead to a fight unless provoked. If you succeed, Lump will give you Lum’s War Horn and tell you to call on them during a fight if you need them.
