Did you obtain the Rune of the Wolf in Baldur’s Gate 3? There are many secrets that you will uncover in the game with some of them requiring special components to unlock. One such secret can be unlocked by obtaining the Rune of the Wolf.
After rescuing Halsin and returning to Emerald Grove, you will be told to speak to Rath. Doing so will get you the Rune of the Wolf. This item is a key to open the Druid vault. This guide will show you where to use the Rune of the Wold in Baldur’s Gate 3.
How to use the Rune of the Wolf in Baldur’s Gate 3
Once you have obtained the Rune of the Wolf in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to bring it to the Enclave Library. While Rath will mention that he will mark the spot on your map, you actually don’t need to go far. After all, he is in the Enclave. All you need to do is go through the door on the opposite side of the room from where Rath is. This will lead you to the Druids’ Chambers. From there, go through the door straight ahead to reach the Enclave Library.
In the library, you will see a massive glowing wolf statue. To the right of the statue is an empty socket. Interact with the empty socket and place the Rune of the Wolf in it. Once this is done, interact with all of the stone tablets surrounding the wolf statue.
The order in which you interact with the tablets doesn’t matter. Once they are all glowing, the wolf statue will lower into the ground and a staircase will appear. Interacting with the stairs will lead you to the Hidden Vault where you can collect your treasure. You will get a special glaive called Sorrow that gives you the Sorrowful Lash cantrip when wielding it. There are other crates and a chest to loot in this room as well that will gift you random items.
