The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the first game that allows you to play as Zelda. This top-down adventure game is full of unique mechanics that set it apart from previous games in the series. Something that was introduced in Breath of the Wild is the use of different outfits. This trend continued into Tears of the Kingdom and made an appearance once more in Echoes of Wisdom. You can dress Zelda up in various outfits with some of them just being for style and others offering useful abilities that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. Here are the best outfits in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – Best outfits to wear
There are a good number of outfits that you can get your hands on in Echoes of Wisdom. With that being said, some of them offer amazing bonuses that enhance Zelda’s already fantastic abilities. Let’s break down which outfits are the best in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and where you can find them.
Dancing Outfit
The Dancing Outfit is styled after the Gerudo people living in the desert. Covering Zelda in fine silk and a veil increases the size of her spin move, allowing you to hit more grass and break objects more efficiently. Getting this outfit will take some time. To obtain it, you must complete all three stages of the Mano Rush game at Oasis in Gerudo Desert. The first two stages are available right away while the third one becomes unlocked later on once the proprietor has had time to set it up.
Silk Pajamas
Allow Zelda to don some Silk Pajamas and you will get a nice boost to your health recovery. Of course, this recovery only works while Zelda is resting in a bed. Luckily, you can create an echo of a bed anywhere to let Zelda take a nap. If you want to obtain this outfit, you will need to complete Dohna’s Challenge Side Quest in Gerudo Town. Once this is done, you will be handed the outfit.
Cat Clothes
There are two variants of the Cat Clothes with one being the standard version and the other being the Black Cat variant. Both versions of the outfit will grant Zelda the ability to speak to cats – an oddly useful talent for some extra content in the game. The standard version of this outfit is obtained by feeding the calico cat by the northeast windmill at Kakariko Village. Give the cat a Grilled Fish and you will get the outfit. The Black Cat variant of the outfit is obtained by scanning in a Ganondorf Amiibo.
There are plenty of other outfits in the game but these are the only ones with abilities that you can utilize. Other outfits such as the Royal Attire will give Zelda a unique look but won’t aid you in any other way.
