How to start the Haus DLC in Dead Island 2
If you want to start the Dead Island 2 Haus DLC, you need to progress through the game to the mission titled “The Chosen One.” After completing this mission, return to Emma’s house in Bel Air. You should see a new symbol appear that signifies the DLC invitation is available.
With the symbol appearing, follow the marker to where the invitation is sitting. You can find the invitation on the bottom floor of Emma’s House near the tennis court. Interact with the invitation to start the Haus DLC and go to Malibu.
When you pick up the invitation, you will get a short cutscene showing your character picking it up. After some strange images, you will appear at the top of a hill overlooking a home in Malibu and the DLC will officially start. There is no explanation as to how you arrived in this new area so take your best guess as to how it happened.
