If you progress through the story, you will eventually find yourself being tasked with entering the Cave of Wonders. Inside, there is a puzzle that you must navigate to continue. You have started the Rift in Time DLC, unlocked Gaston, and Rapunzel, and are now ready to explore the Cave of Wonders. Are you prepared to solve the puzzle within and get past the magic gates? This guide will show you how to open the magic gates in the Cave of Wonders in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

During the Diamond in the Rough quest, you are tasked with entering the Cave of Wonders. Inside, you must open the magic gates to proceed and explore deeper into the cave. Here are the solutions to the Cave of Wonders puzzles:
Disney Dreamlight Valley – First magic gate puzzle solution
To open the first gate, start by turning around and following the path where the Splinters of Fate are. This will lead you to a power cell. Pick up the power cell and place it in the open compartment nearby. This will turn on the laser.
With the laser turned on, go back to the area where the gate is. Flip the switch where the beam is pointing. The light will bounce off the plate and over to the gate, opening it.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – Second magic gate puzzle solution
For the second puzzle, start by going down the left path. Follow this path to a lever next to a horizontal railing on the wall. Flip the switch to move the mirror.
From here, turn around and go down the path where the Splinters of Fate are. You will see another switch. Flip this switch to make the other mirror move. Next, go up the hill toward the main room but go to the right and pick up the mirror on the ground.
Bring the mirror over to where the light is hitting the wall in the hallway leading back to where the gate is. Place the mirror on the wall and go into the main room. Once there, flip the switch down the steps to the right of the door. This will activate the first switch on the door.
With that out of the way, return to the gate and take the path to the right. This will lead you to a room with a floor puzzle and a power cell in the center. The floor puzzle is simple to solve. All you need to do is spin the circular tiles to make the power fill up all the channels on the floor.
When all the channels have power, it will look like the image above and the power cell in the center will be charged. Pick up the power coil and bring it to the empty socket to the right of the gate. With the power coil inserted, the beam of light will connect to the door. You will now be able to open the magic gate and proceed further into the Cave of Wonders. Just don’t get lost.
