Fallout 76 is a game all about survival. If you want to survive in the wastelands of Appalachia, you will want to get your hands on plenty of crafting materials. While some crafting materials are easy to find, some of them are pretty difficult to obtain. Legendary Cores, for instance, aren’t the easiest material to obtain but are needed if you want to do some legendary crafting.
To craft legendary items, you need to get Legendary Cores and Legendary Modules. Of course, these materials aren’t all over the place. You will instead need to look in specific locations. This guide will show you how to get Legendary Cores in Fallout 76.
Fallout 76 – Where to find Legendary Cores
There are three ways to get Legendary Cores in Fallout 76. First, you can obtain them by completing public events. Specifically, you are looking for public events that have an exclamation point on the marker. This will indicate that the event will reward you with Legendary Cores. The amount of cores you will get from this is anywhere from one to eight.
The second method of obtaining Legendary cores is by completing the Daily Ops mission. The Daily Ops mission is for players who are level 50 and up. This mission respawns each day and tasks players with completing tasks against enemies who are powered up with different modifiers. These modifiers can be very simple or devastatingly difficult. Make sure to bring a friend or two if you don’t think you are up to the task of taking it on by yourself.
Finally, you can get Legendary Cores by completing seasonal events. Seasonal Events are just like regular public events but they only appear during certain times of the year. For instance, Grahm’s Meat-Cook happens a few times per year and is a great way to get Legendary Cores. Keep an eye on the event calendar for when the next seasonal event is happening.
