Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach has been out for a long time. In fact, it has been out since 2021. Since that time, players have been waiting for the Ruin DLC and the chance to see what happens after the events of the base game.
The Ruin DLC takes place after the events of the original game. Gregory has been trapped in the pizza complex again and needs to be rescued. You play Cassidy, a close friend of Gregory’s who is armed with nothing but a radio and a wrench and must brave the complex once again and rescue Gregory at all costs.
How to download the FNAF: Security Breach Ruin DLC
Downloading the Ruin DLC is rather simple. It was released for free on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. To download the Ruin DLC, go to the digital marketplace for your console. For example, if you bought the game through Steam, go to the Security Breach Steam store page.
You will see the DLC available on the digital storefront of your console. Simply select the DLC and download it to your console. Since the Ruin DLC was released for free, you can download it without needing to pay for it. The DLC isn’t very big so it shouldn’t take you very long to download it.
How to start the FNAF: Security Breach Ruin DLC
Once you have downloaded the DLC, start it up on your selected platform. When you reach the main menu, you will see an option titled Play Ruin under the Play Security Breach option. Selecting this option will allow you to start up the DLC.
There is no need to go to another screen. Once you have selected the option to start the DLC, the DLC will begin and you will be launched into the story. We recommend completing the entirety of the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach main campaign before starting the DLC since it takes place after the events of the base game.
