The best experience playing an RPG is when you can make exactly the kind of character you want. Whether that is a digital version of yourself or a character you dreamed up, you want every aspect of them to be how you see them in your mind. How they are referred to in the game is also important, which makes the ability to choose your pronouns important. You can even change them later without needing to make a new character. Here is how to change your pronouns in Starfield.
How to swap pronouns in Starfield
After you create your character in Starfield, you will have set their pronouns. Luckily, you can later edit them and change their pronouns very soon after. While in New Atlantis, make your way to the NAT (the tram service) and travel to the Commercial District. While here, look for a business called Enhance. You can find it to the left of the bright Outland lights and across from the UC Distribution Center. Talk to the person behind the counter and pay him 500 Credits to go into the character creator again.
When you are in the creator, you can change any aspect of your character’s physical look that you want. You can change their hair, eyes, body build, and all the other kinds of options you went over at the beginning of the game. Any changes you make here will not affect your background and skills. After you change your looks, press Finish, and you will be given a chance to change your name and pronouns. Click save here, and your changes will immediately be put into effect.
You can change your pronouns in Starfield and other physical information as many times as you want as long as you have 500 Credits. Luckily, this is a very small amount in the grand scheme of things, so you should be able to come up with the money easily.
