What good is a party if there is no emotion? In the case of Party Animals, you won’t have to worry about that. As you battle your friends in the game’s various arenas, you will laugh and yell plenty enough on your own. That said, you can also leave a little message in your game from your character. Here is how to emote in Party Animals.
How to use emotes in Party Animals
To emote in Party Animals, you need to do the following depending on your platform:
- On PC, hold T and select the emote with your mouse.
- On Xbox, hold up on the d-pad and select your emote with the right stick.
You can emote anytime during a game or in the pre-game lobby when selecting a character to play.
Party Animals emotes are just simple images that appear above your character’s head when you use them. They don’t actually dance or do fun things like in Fortnite or Overwatch. With that said, you can change your emotes whenever you want outside of a match.
On the main menu, select your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will bring up your profile page. In the top right corner, select Emotes to see all that you can currently equip. There are a select few that need to be unlocked through leveling up, but a vast majority of them, including a meme-worthy cat, are available immediately. Be sure to apply your changes before backing out.
After your emotes are set, be sure to use them to properly let others know how you feel in the moment and maybe make someone a little annoyed by spamming them in a match. They don’t do much, but they’re there.
