Helldivers 2 is the latest beloved cooperative game to release, but it has definitely had its fair share of issues. There have been all kinds of issues with the servers being overloaded, leading to long queue times to get in and the development team putting a cap on the number of people who can play at a time. Another common issue is your game getting stuck on your defrosting Helldiver when you get in. Here is how to fix being stuck on defrosting in Helldivers 2.

How to fix defrosting Helldivers issue in Helldivers 2

If your screen is stuck on your Helldiver in the process of defrosting in Helldivers 2, you are experiencing a server load issue. On the positive side, you can know that the issue is not your fault, but you might not like the fix if you are an impatient person.

First, we recommend restarting the game. Unfortunately, this will force you to go back through the process of waiting in a queue to get back in. However, with a reestablished connection, you should be able to move around freely.

If that doesn’t work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling your game. You may have a corrupted file that is preventing you from getting past the defrost portion. However, this is not very likely, and simply rebooting the game should fix the issue in most instances.

As stated above, there have been all kinds of server issues in Helldivers 2 because of how many people are playing the game. As time goes on, these problems will become less prominent as people start to fall off and the servers can handle the number of people playing. Hopefully, that is sooner rather than later, but give the development team time and things should run much smoother.
