In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will be spending a great deal of time cooking. Cooking in TotK requires a pot and a fire. Making fire is easy, but finding a pot can prove to be difficult at times. You can’t always be rushing to the nearest town to find yourself a premade cooking station.

Thankfully, in an upgrade from Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom has a portable pot that you can obtain. With this item, you can set up a cooking station on the go and cook just about anywhere. This guide will show you how to get a portable pot in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find a portable pot in Zelda: TotK

To find a portable pot, you will need to obtain one from a Device Dispenser. Device Dispensers are large gumball machine-looking objects that require Zonai parts to function. Each time you use a Device Dispenser, you will have a chance of getting a portable pot among other Zonai devices.

When you get a portable pot, it will automatically get placed in your inventory just like other Zonai devices. You can access the portable pot at any time from your inventory.

How to use a portable pot in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To use a portable pot, press the + Button to access your inventory. From there, use the L and R Buttons to access the Zonai Devices menu, Select the portable pot and hit Take out Device.

When you exit your inventory, the portable pot will automatically appear on the ground. From there, take out your ingredients like you would when using a normal cooking station. Place the items in the pot and they will get cooked. No need to build a fire. Remember, each portable pot you get is only good for cooking one recipe. Afterward, it will break.
