You will find many armor sets throughout Hyrule as you play through The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each armor set that you find will alter your stats and can even give you special abilities. One of the many outfits in the game is the Time outfit.

The Time outfit consists of three different pieces of armor; the Trousers of Time, Tunic of Time, and Cap of Time. Each piece of this outfit is scattered throughout Hyrule and it is up to you to track them down. This guide will show you how to get the Cap of Time in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find the Cap of Time in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To obtain the Cap of Time, you will need to scour the land of Hyrule and plunge into the Depths. First, you need to locate Sturnida basin. This area is in the northwest section of the map. Once you have found Lake Kilsie, head north and you will find Sturnida Basin.

After locating this area, look for a means of entering the Depths. You probably won’t find one in the area and will instead need to head southeast a bit to find an entrance.

Make sure you have a paraglider before heading into the Depths so you don’t fall to your death. When you reach the bottom, use Brightbloom Seeds to light your way in the dark. You will need to find your way to the Sturnida Lavafalls in the northwestern part of the Depths.

Before entering this area, it is best to have some heat protection since the Lavafalls are very hot. If you don’t have anything for heat protection, you can always try making an elixir. Run in, grab the chest, and get out if you can’t get any heat protection at all.

If you would rather not go searching, you can get your hand on the Cap of Time by using the Ocarina of Time Link Amiibo. Each time you use the Amiibo, there is a chance you will get a piece of the time outfit.
