The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring added plenty of new spells to the game with the Giant Golden Arc incantation being one of them. This incantation creates a massive arc that sweeps out in front of your character, hitting whatever foes are in front of you. If you want to obtain this spell, however, you first need to learn some new crafting tricks and make your way to the correct ruins in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Don’t worry, if you are stuck trying to get into the ruins that house this powerful spell, we’ve got you covered. Here is how to get the Giant Golden Arc incantation in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Where to find the Giant Golden Arc incantation in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
The Giant Golden Arc incantation is one that allows you to create, well… a giant golden arc. This arc sweeps across the battlefield and hits all enemies in its path, allowing you to strike multiple foes at once. To obtain this incantation, you must travel to the Ruins of Unte which is in the water beneath Shadow Keep. The closest Site of Grace to the Ruins is the Castle Watering Hole.
Once you reach the area, you will need to craft a Hefty Furnace Pot. This is done by combining two Redflesh Mushrooms, two Embers of Messmer, and one Furnace Visage. With a Hefty Furnace Pot crafted, make your way over to the ruins. You will see a deactivated Furnace Golem blocking the entrance to the ruins. To get it to move, position yourself on the balcony of the building to the left of the Furnace Golem.
From the balcony, equip your Hefty Furnace Pot and toss it at the deactivated Furnace Golem’s head. This will reactivate the Furnace Golem, causing it to stand up. With the debris blocking the entrance removed and activated, you can hop down from the balcony and run into the ruins. There is a small church-like building at the far end of the ruins. Go inside here and open the chest to get the incantation.
