For a long time, players have been wondering who lives in the Pumpkin House in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Gameloft gave everyone an answer when it revealed the trailer for Update 5. The answer to the riddle is the Fairy Godmother. Best known for helping out Cinderella in her time of need, the Fairy Godmother has finally made her way to the valley and is ready to be unlocked.

Much like Olaf in the previous update, you don’t need to do much to unlock the Fairy Godmother. Some might say it’s as simple as saying ‘bippity-boppity-boo.’ With that, the Fairy Godmother appears. This guide will show you how to unlock Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where to find the Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Similar to Olaf from the previous update, you will be able to find the Fairy Godmother very quickly. When you launch the game after downloading The Remembering update, you will get a short cutscene showing the pumpkin house. Go to the house and go inside to find the Fairy Godmother. Unfortunately, that isn’t the only step to unlocking her.

To actually unlock the Fairy Godmother as a resident, you need to complete her quest called Miracles Take Time. Talk to the Fairy Godmother to start this quest. When the quest is complete, the Fairy Godmother will become a resident of the valley.

How to complete the Miracles Take Time quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

With the quest started, your first task will be to collect Purified Night Shards. If you don’t already have them, you will need to gather Night Shards and Dream Shards then combine them at a crafting station.

Once you have five Purified Night Shards, bring them to Fairy Godmother. After a brief conversation, she will run out of the pumpkin house and over to the large rock in the middle of the Forgotten Lands biome. Meet her there.

Fairy Godmother will turn the large rock into a treehouse. Enter the treehouse by interacting with it. This will bring you to the Dreamscape. Talk to Fairy Godmother and then collect the memories around the Dreamscape. Afterward, she will tell you that you need to live The Forgotten’s memories.

Interact with the portal that opens. Once through, you will be in The Forgotten. Talk to Mickey and he will ask you to pick flowers. Wander around the valley section and pick up the Ugly Flowers that you see.

After picking the flowers, go to the workstation near Goofy’s house and craft the Hideous Bouquet. With the bouquet crafted, give it to Minnie by the pillar. Turn to Mickey afterward and then go talk to Goofy. You will now need to find the following items in the following locations:

  • Rotten Carrot – Found behind Goofy’s house within the fenced-in area
  • Rotten Tomato – Found behind the barrels next to Mickey
  • Rotten Clam – Found by the pond to the left of Mickey and by the pond near Goofy’s house

With the items you picked up, go to the cooking station and craft the Nasty Bouillabaisse. Bring the meal to Goofy. Talk to Minnie once again and you will get a cutscene that shows the Memory of Friendship fall out of the pillar. You will appear back in the Dreamscape. Pick up the memory. This will end the quest. With the quest complete, the Fairy Godmother will become a resident in the valley.
