You have multiple tools in Disney Dremalight Valley and another one has been introduced in The Storybook Vale expansion. Of course, as with the previous tools, you will need to unlock this new one if you want to use it. The Royal Net is the main tool you will be using in Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale and it is used to catch the Snippets that belong to the Lorekeeper. How to get the Royal Net in Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale
The Royal Net is unlocked as part of the Welcome to the Storybook Vale quest. This is the first quest that you get after purchasing the expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley. After helping Merida escape from her oozy prison, you will meet the Lorekeeper and some Snippets will escape. When this happens, you will receive the task of finding the Royal Net’s secret location i nthe Library of Lore. You do have the option to ask Merida for a hint.
Start by locating the various items around the library. First, there is the sack next to the tent by the stairs to the left of Merida. This will get you the Pickaxe Potion. Use the Pickaxe Potion to upgrade your Royal Pickaxe. Next, use your pickaxe on the petrified wood surrounding the wooden post with the metal chain. Pulling the chain will make the plates in the center of the room spin. There is a second chain in the room that also makes the plates spin. Your goal is to spin the plates until they line up and create an image of Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
Once the plates are lined up, the center will rise and reveal the Royal Net. You can now use the net to catch the Snippets around The Storybook Vale. You can perform two moves with the net; a standard catch and a spin. Use both moves to help nab all the Snippets and return them to the Lorekeeper.
