EVE needs your assistance in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There is a mysterious problem that needs solving in the secret garden and it involves her plants. There are plenty of quests to complete in the Rift of Time DLC for Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you aren’t in the mood to help out EVE, you can always turn your attention to Rapunzel by completing the Home is Where the Art is quest. Disney Dreamlight Valley – Lasers & Crafts quest walkthrough
Lasers & Crafts is EVE’s level four friendship quest. It becomes available after you have raised EVE’s friendship level to four and completed previous quests such as A New Directive. After starting the quest, meet EVE at her secret garden in The Overlook section of Ancient’s Landing. Once there, you will see that it is engulfed in fire. Use your watering can to put out the flames.
After putting out the fires, talk to EVE and then go talk to Mirabel. When that is done, return to EVE and you will be tasked with finding the Ancient Gemstones in Ancient’s Landing. There are no specific locations where the gemstones appear in Ancient’s Landing, use your Royal Hourglass to track them down. For us, the gemstones appeared behind EVE’s house in The Docks section and near the stairs leading to The Ruins.
Once you have collected both Ancient Gemstones, bring them to EVE. After this, follow EVE to a “mystery location.” She brings you to the secret room where you got the Robot Costume earlier in the Eternity Isle storyline. Once there, she will use her lasers and catch the ground on fire again.
Use your watering can to smother the flames and use your shovel to remove the craters that formed. Pick up the Melted Ancient Gemstones after this and bring them to EVE. After a brief conversation, make your way to a crafting bench to make the Stone Canvas. For this, you will need the following materials from the following locations:
- 5x Plastic Scrap – Obtained by fishing in water without ripples around Ancient’s Landing
- 1x Quartz – Obtained from rock spots around Ancient’s Landing
- Melted Ancient Gemstones
After crafting the Stone Canvas bring it to EVE. You will need to follow her back to the secret garden. Once there, EVE will place the Stone Canvas in the corner and the quest will be complete.
