The release of Lies of P is right around the corner and many fans of the Dark Souls series are excited. As with most games, Lies of P has a deluxe edition that you can purchase if you want to get some extra stuff in the game. Of course, whether or not this deluxe edition is worth is a question that is bound to pop up.
Deluxe editions of games typically come with some in-game bonus items, like extra costumes/cosmetics and additional weapons, and can even come with DLC like extra levels or ways to upgrade your character. What is included in the Liues of P deluxe edition? Is the Lies of P deluxe edition worth it? Let’s talk it out.
What is in the Lies of P deluxe edition?
There are two different versions of Lies of P that you can purchase; the standard edition and the deluxe edition. The standard edition just comes with the base game and any bonus items that you got from pre-ordering the game. The deluxe edition, on the other hand, comes with multiple bonuses such as:
- 72-hours early access
- The Great Venigni’s Signature Coat
- The Great Venigni’s Glasses
- Mask worn by those preparing for the festival
As you can tell, there are a decent number of items included in the deluxe edition of Lies of P. You also get early access to the game. This means that you will get to play on September 16, 2023, instead of September 19, 2023. Make sure you also snag the Mischievous Puppet’s Clothes and Mischievous Puppet’s Parade Hat by pre-ordering the game.
Lies of P – Is the deluxe edition worth it?
If you are debating whether to purchase the standard or deluxe edition of Lies of P, we think that the deluxe edition is more than worth it. Not only do you get bonus in-game costumes to edit the look of your character, but you also get 72-hour early access to the game.
With the base game costing $60 and the deluxe edition costing $70, you only need to spend $10 more to get the bonus items and early access. Of course, if you don’t think you will be able to play during that early access period, you might want to stick with the standard edition of the game.
