How to complete the Interceptor Mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies
To complete the Interceptor Mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you must find and destroy a Mercenary Convoy. This can be found as a random event across the map. If you manage to complete both objectives, you will complete the mission. Below, we break down the steps required to complete this mission.
How to find a Mercenary Convoy in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies
The first step is to find or locate a Mercenary Convoy. They can be identified by a group of vehicles moving across the map like in the image below. Mercenary convoys seem to spawn frequently around the medium threat zone on the main highway.
Players seem to believe the best location for these spawns is the Zaravan Suburbs though they can spawn anywhere. This location, however, seems to be the most likely spot for them to spawn.
When you get close to a convoy, you will get notified. Dobbs will mention something about an ambush. After this, you will just need to locate the vehicles which are identified by red markers on the map.
How to destroy a Mercenary Convoy in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies
The ultimate goal is to destroy the Mercenary Convoy. To do this, you must destroy the vehicles as well as eliminate all of the threats within them. This can be done with standard weapons but we prefer something stronger like a rocket launcher that can get the job done a bit faster.
Destroying a mercenary convoy will get you a Mercenary Stronghold Keycard which can be found in either a chest on one of the trucks or on a defeated enemy. You will need this Stronghold Keycard to get a Fortress Keycard later on. Keep in mind that these keycards do not carry over to later games if you exfil with them.
