New game plus mode has become synonymous with action RPGs and soul-like games. Almost any time a new action RPG is released, players are asking if there is a new game plus mode so they can play again on a more difficult setting. These modes typically allow you to carry over all of your hard-earned gear and resources to help you manage the high difficulty. So what does this say about Stellar Blade? Does Stellar Blade have a new game plus mode? Let’s break it down and see what you can expect from this title.
Does Stellar Blade have a new game plus mode?
Yes! Stellar Blade does in fact have a new game plus mode that you can access after you beat the game. This was revealed on the PlayStation blog and confirmed by the developers. But what does having this game mode mean for Stellar Blade? Well, you will get the following when you enter new game plus:
- Expanded Wardrobe: You can get more costumes for EVE, Adam, Lily, and the drone. There are 34 additional costumes to earn in new game plus.
- Level expansions for EVE’s gear: You can raise EVE’s level even further by leveling up the weapon, beta core, body core, and tumbler.
- New Skills: New game plus comes with infinite skills which are enhancements to beta skills.

Those are the most important changes that you will find in this game mode. You can also raise the difficulty even further to give yourself more of a challenge against foes that you have already fought. On top of this, EVE’s gear and exospine will receive new enhancements. You can even raise your shield penetration.
If you plan on beating the game multiple times, be sure to check out chests that you previously unlocked or complete additional quests to unlock all of the costumes and get even more upgrades. Just don’t go trying to beat it while wearing the skin suit.
