Stellar Blade has been getting a lot of traction lately, especially since the demo dropped at the end of March. With that being said, many are excited about the game being released later this year. If you have decided to pre-order the game, you might be wondering how to pre-load Stellar Blade. Luckily, the pre-load date has gone live for the game and so has the download size. If you are someone who has a slower internet speed, you will want to take all the time you can to get this game downloaded to your system. Here is how to pre-load Stellar Blade plus the download size.

Stellar Blade pre-load date

The preload for Stellar Blade goes live on Friday, April 19, 2024. This means that you have an entire week to get the game downloaded before its official release on April 26, 2024. To make sure you can pre-load the game, start by pre-ordering it via the PlayStation store page. Once you have the game pre-ordered, you will see it in your library.

On April 19, go to your game library on your PS5, and select the download option. This will initiate the download for Stellar Blade. Once it is done, you should see a countdown timer appear on the home page, showing you how long you have left until the game is available to play.

Stellar Blade download size

Now that you have Stellar Blade pre-ordered, the download size for the game is roughly 30GB. At least, this is what we have been able to find out. There have been no official sources that have revealed the download size for the game yet so it could be bigger than what we have found. Keep this in mind before you start the download and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get it downloaded before the official release date. Until the release date, you can still enjoy the Stellar Blade demo.
