The Stellar Blade download size has been revealed and it is a blessing for those with slow internet speeds. Recently, the Stellar Blade demo was released with a download size of around 15GB. The full size of the game looks like it will clock in at around 30.5GB. This has raised the eyebrows of many people but it also shows that not all great games need to be 100โs of gigabytes to be playable. Stellar Blade is looking great in its petite package.
The file size for the upcoming action-RPG was posted on the PlayStation Game Size X page along with a pre-load date of April 19, 2024. This gives players a full week to get the game downloaded so even those with poor internet speeds have plenty of time to get it installed.
Of course, many took to X to comment on the size of the game. One user stated โSmaller than expected. Hopefully, there is enough content in the game for a $70 prize tagโ This seems to be a worry among fans who played the demo but since some have put over 50+ hours into the demo, we are sure that the full game will offer plenty of action to keep players occupied.
On the other hand, many are excited about the smaller download size. One user commented, โFinally! A triple-A game thatโs nowhere near 100 plus gigabytes! Canโt wait to play this gameโ Another user praised the developer by saying, โ30GB is super small nowadays. Great job by Shift Up.โ One user also gave an explanation about why the gameโs file size is so small compared to the demoโs by stating, โBunch of additional files in the demo that were locked off from the base game and customized for the demo to make it function properly. FF7 Rebirthโs demo was like 50GB and it only contained the prologue and Junon.โ
If you are still worried about Stellar Blade, rest assured knowing that the game is estimated to have over 30+ hours of gameplay. This is around the same amount that Assassinโs Creed Mirage had when it was released. With the game being an action-RPG with multiple endings, there should be plenty of action to satisfy fans.
