This guide will show you how to fix the fuse box in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game.
How to escape through the basement door in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game
To escape via the basement door in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game, you need to fix the fuse box. There are a few steps to fixing the fuse box before you can open the basement escape door. Follow the steps below to fix the fuse box.
- Escape the basement
- Locate a tool by finding a toolbox
- Locate a fuse by finding a panel on a wall around the exterior or interior
- Go to the fuse box and install the fuse
- Complete the fuse box puzzle
When you finally get a fuse in the fuse box, you will need to open the box and start the puzzle. Interact with the box and you will see the following inside it.
To solve the puzzle, you must place the fuses into the correct colored spots in the fuse box. The numbers on the pair of fuses must equal the number in the center when added together. For instance, the blue fuse with the number ‘7’ needs the yellow fuse with the number ‘6’ to equal the center number ’13.’ The same process is used for the bottom pair of fuses where a blue and yellow fuse must have numbers equal to 14. When done correctly, the fuse box will activate, opening the basement door.
All you need to do now is to run to the basement door to escape. Of course, you must do this quickly. If you don’t reach the basement door in time, it will close and you won’t be able to leave. If this happens, you will need to reactivate the fuse box and run back to the basement door.
