Oxenfree II: Lost Signals finally has a release date! Anyone who played and fell in love with the original game has been waiting very patiently for years for this game to come out, and it is finally in reach. Here is when Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is coming out.

When does Oxenfree II: Lost Signals release?

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals will be released this summer on July 12. The game will launch on PC through Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile through the Netflix app. No Xbox port of the game has been announced as of this writing, but you might be surprised to see Netflix, the TV and movie streaming service, announced as a platform. This is because the company purchased developer Night School Studio and is now the series’ publisher.

Given the Oxenfree sequel is set to come to most current platforms, it is a bit odd to see Xbox left out. The original game was released on Xbox One and was also available in the Games With Gold and Game Pass services. With this in mind, we imagine an Xbox port is in the works, but perhaps was delayed. However, that is mere speculation, and there is no indication of that being the case.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals takes place in Camena, a small west coast town dealing with a series of odd electromagnetic waves. You will use a radio to interact with these waves and see some supernatural events. Along the way, you will interact with various characters both in-person and through talking to them on your new walkie-talkie. This brings back the classic dialogue of the first game, but now you can reach out to others whenever you want.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals looks to be the follow-up that we have been waiting for what feels forever to play. July 12 can’t come soon enough for us to get our hands on the game.
