Tears of the Kingdom is out and fans of the Zelda series are ready to explore the lands of Hyrule once more. Being a sequel to Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shares the same map. This means that many of the landmarks from the game’s predecessor return in Tears of the Kingdom.

One such landmark that is still standing tall is Kakariko Village. This village has appeared in most of the Zelda games and is a must-visit location if you are playing Tears of the Kingdom. This guide will show you where to find Kakariko Village in Tears of the Kingdom.

Kakariko Village location in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There is no denying that Kakariko Village is one of the most sought-after locations in Tears of the Kingdom. There is plenty going on in the area with multiple shops and an inn to visit. If you are looking for Kakariko Village, you will need to look to the east on the map.

Kakariko is located to the southeast of Lookout Landing. Lookout Landing is the first village you will visit after escaping from the Great Sky Island tutorial area. From Lookout Landing, follow the road to the east that leads to the Lanayru Wetlands.

Once you cross the large river, head to follow the road south. The road will curve to the east after a while. Continue following it and it will bring you to Kakariko Village. The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is near Kakriko if you want to reveal the map. You can also find the Makasura Shrine on the edge of the village which serves as a great fast travel point for when you wish to return in the future.

Kakariko Village has an armor shop that has the Radiant and Stealth armor sets. Both are great armor sets that are worth getting if you have 5,000 Rupees for each piece.
