While Baldur’s Gate 3 is loaded with an impressive amount of D&D content, the ability to mod the game allows fans to explore even deeper.  Nexus Mods user KiderionLykon is one such creator who developed the “Artificer Class and All Subclasses” mod. Now players can use the intellect and crafting ability of Artificers to their advantage when exploring the world of Baldur’s Gate.

In this mod, Artificers are able to infuse weapons and armor with magical properties to enhance their capabilities. It also expands the use of magic items available, such as the popular bag of holding. The subclasses included in this mod are Alchemist, Armorer, Artillerist, and Battle Smith. The Battle Smith subclass allows you to battle alongside a robotic companion. The Alchemists brew unique potions and deadly chemicals. The Artillerist focuses on “guns” and explosions, and the Armorer is a defensive-focused subclass.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is already such an expansive game with endless replayability. Its branching storylines, different romance options, and companion side quests allow players to enjoy it for multiple playthroughs. Since its release, innovative fans have only expanded on this, creating thousands of mods with the support and encouragement of Larian Studios.

So top-up your alchemy supplies and shine your robot as you dive back into BG3 as an Artificer!
