Disney Dreamlight Valley devs have been teasing upcoming content for a while and we finally know everything being added in the spring update. This massive expansion will add part two of the Eternity Isle DLC as well as bring in a bunch of free content to the base game. There is a lot to unpack but those who don’t have the DLC can still expect a lot of additions to be coming their way.
The update announcement has made fans excited for the game in a way they haven’t been in a long time. Not only are multiple villagers coming to the valley but we are also getting a new shop, more story elements, and a fun Disney park-themed Star Path.
Announced via the official Disney Dreamlight Valley X page, the upcoming update is a two-parter. First, we are getting the Thrills and Frills update which is the free content expansion. This will include the following:
- Daisy Duck
- Touch of Magic design shop
- A Day at Disney Star Path
- Use Magic Tools during valley visits
- Take photos with friends and take photos on attractions
- Weekly design challenges
That is a lot to add in one update but it gets even better for those who bought the Rift in Time DLC. The expansion is getting part two titled The Spark of Imagination. This update will include the following:
- Part two of the Rift in Time story
- Oswald
- New animal companions
- New rewards with the Royal Hourglass
- Silent film era furniture
Again, that is a lot of content that you can expect and fans are extremely excited. All of this additional content will be added to the game on May 1, 2024, one week from when the announcement was made.
