Gameloft typically uses surveys to get an idea of what characters players would like to see in the future. In a previous survey, Alice in Wonderland content was a topic and we later saw the IP get added in the form of various furniture items. Now, Gameloft is back with another Disney Dreamlight Valley survey that gives players an idea of what characters Gameloft is considering for the future of the game. Some of the characters on the list are ones that players have been asking for for a long time. When it comes to player feedback, Gameloft listens to everything players say about the game and adjusts it accordingly. Thanks to player feedback, we have had new features like the glide added and the devs adjusted how the multiplayer works. Sharing your thoughts has a big impact.
In the most recent update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Mulan and Mushu (another high-requested character) were added to the game. Up next, we can expect to see Tiana from Princess and the Frog to be added. What comes after that is still a mystery but the survey could hold the answer to who we might see.
In the survey, Gameloft asks what franchises you “would be most excited to see added to Disney Dreamlight Valley in a future game update.” The options are as follows:
- Star Wars
- Zootopia
- Hercules
- Alice in Wonderland
- Snow White
- Cinderella
- Cars
- Winnie the Pooh
- Cars
- Robin Hood
- 101 Dalmations
- The Jungle Book
- The Incredibles
- Pinnochio
- The Muppets
- Aladdin
- Emperor’s New Groove
You can select up to three of these franchises but there are three that already stand out based on comments players have made in the past. These franchises are Winnie the Pooh, Emperor’s New Groove, and Alice in Wonderland. Players have been asking for characters from these franchises since the game was launched. Because of this, we feel that these characters would be the most likely to be added in the future but it is nice to see other beloved IPs on the list.
Later in the survey, it asks you to just how interested you would be in seeing characters from these franchises. The survey then lists characters such as Maid Marian, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Violet, Aladdin, Jasmine, Jack Sparrow, Alice, The Mad Hatter, and a lot more.
