Helldivers 2 players have been patiently waiting for the next major update to hit the game. Well, that update is going to be here quite soon as the community manager has confirmed that the next major update for Helldivers 2 will be coming early next week. We guessed that this update would add whichever Strategem is won in the latest major order and this has been confirmed as well through a series of posts on Discord.
Earlier, community manager Spitz commented on a message regarding the latest Strategems available in the major order. The user asked if anyone had tested the new Stratagems yet to which Spitz replied that “lots of people have tested them by data mining the old versions,” proving that the Stratagem leaks were of an earlier build of the game. The Strategems that we are going to get are going to be different than the ones from the earlier build leaks.
Spitz then went on to confirm in a later message that the Stratagems from the leaks were indeed the playtest versions. They also confirmed that “the final release versions of those Stratagems will be live with the major build update early next week.” We assume that the update will go live after the major order is complete so that players can get whichever Strategem they won and have to unlock the other via the ship’s menu.
Helldivers 2 has seen fairly consistent updates since it was released and players have been sure to chime in with their thoughts on changes they would like to see in the game. One player even suggested the addition of an entirely new nuke-carry mission while another suggested the addition of a firing range to test out weapons and learn information about the Terminds and Automatons.
