A New Fortnite x WWE Collaboration Has Been Revealed

via Epic Games

We are just a day away from Wrestlemania 41 and to celebrate WrestleMania weekend, Fortnite revealed via the trailer below that The Undertaker and current undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes are being added to the game later today.

These new WWE Fortnite Icon Series cosmetics will be available in the item shop today, April 18 at 8PM Eastern Time (5 PM Pacific). The Undertaker will have two alternate styles which will consist of his in-ring gear and entrance gear. Along with that, he will be getting a Deadman’s Eyes cosmetic that can be toggled on or off during gameplay, the Taker’s Shovel pickaxe, The Urn black bling, and the “Urn’d Respect” emote.

As for the Undisputed WWE Champion himself, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will have only one outfit along with the Cody’s Cutlass pickaxe, the Nightmare Mantle back bling, the American Nightmare weapon wrap, and the “WOOOAAHH!” emote. If you’d like to purchase the entire bundle that includes all of the items above, that will be available on the item shop for 2,800 V-bucks. Each outfit and emote can be purchased individually as well.

This is not the first time that WWE and Fortnite have collaborated like this, with superstars like Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch and even John Cena gracing the item shop at some point in time as well. While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is no stranger to the world of Fortnite, he has only been presented as the fictional characters he’s played within various movies like Black Adam.

The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes have both been featured on the cover of numerous WWE 2K games and within crossovers in titles like Brawlhalla and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This weekend, WWE fans and Fortnite fans alike can now get a preview of Sunday’s main event which will see Cody Rhodes face off against John Cena for the Undisputed WWE championship. WWE’s influence within the world of video games only grows stronger.
