Players have managed to liberate Wasat in Helldivers 2. With that major order cleared, Helldivers are now tasked with something a bit more difficult; the choice between human life and a new Stratagem. This is a tough decision to be sure but this isn’t the first time that Arrowhead has made players choose. Which planet will players focus on in this new Helldivers 2 MO? Will they save the trapped survivors on Vernen Wells or harvest the raw ingredients for the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines on Marfark?

In a previous major order, players were tasked with choosing between two new Stratagems – the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher. When this choice was presented, players originally chose the Aurburst Rocket Launcher. As such, this Stratagem became available for purchase. After the order ended, players missed their chance to get the Anti-Tank Mines.

As announced on the official Helldivers 2 X Page, players will need to choose to liberate Vernen Wells or Marfark. Whichever of these planets is liberated first within the designated time period of four days, will determine what reward players get. Many find this choice to be difficult because the MO states, “An emergency distress call from Vernen Wells describes thousands of civilian survivors trapped in the remains of Super Citizen Anne’s Hospital for very sick children.”

Given the choice, many in the comments seem to be focused on heading to Vernen Wells to rescue the surviving kids. Some stated they could go a little longer without the mines while others believe there will be a secret reward for rescuing the surviving children. Others simply believe that Helldivers are not meant to get the mines as they have appeared in multiple MOs and have never been obtained. Remember, if you want to focus on getting the mines, head to Marfark once Aesir Pass is liberated. If you would rather focus on saving innocent children, head to Vernen Wells.

This is the last Helldivers 2 MO before the next major patch which is set to change many things about the game. The upcoming patch will focus on some major bug fixes, weapon rebalancing, and more. We will also be getting the Viper Commandos Warbond on the same day.
