Palworld devs show you why you shouldn’t overwork your pets

Early on PocketPair showed how to catch a Pal, but now the developer is showing off how you can go about building a base and what happens if you over-exert your Pals by making them do too much manual labor.

Developer PocketPair has been steadily showing everyone the carious different Pals that you will be able to catch in Palworld and a few of the game’s many mechanics in a series of tutorial videos. The latest focuses on how you can use your Pals efficiently.

The latest tutorial to be shown for Palworld shows you what camp life is like. Before camp is set up, the devs show off some battles as well as how you traverse the world. You can ride your Pals to quickly get around the world of the game and use them to defeat other powerful Pals that you might happen to come across.

The Pals that you capture can help you build your base. The first Pal shown is Grizzbolt and he gets to work building an Improved Furnace which we are positive will be used in conjunction with the game’s crafting system.

If you want to build a great base, you must do as the narrator of the trailer says and “catch a Pal, and make it work.” Catch an army of Pals and put them to work to create the perfect base. As shown in the trailer, Pals can craft items like generators, furnaces, garden beds, and wells. There are even more advanced items like conveyor belts.

The warning about overworking your Pals comes at the end of the trailer where a large pile of unconscious Pals can be seen stacked up on the side of the player’s camp. Be careful about overworking your Pals because it seems like they will collapse if worked too much. Make sure to pay attention to each Pal’s efficiency and give them a break every now and then.
