A Palworld summer update is on the way. PocketPair showed off some of its newest pals, environments, and weapons coming to the game. Four new creatures will be coming to the game, and while we don’t know their names yet, they all maintain that “these are not Pokémon” flair to them. A frog creature with a stick, a tall bird that makes jagged spikes come out of the ground, a floating cat thing, and a mushroom dinosaur were included.
While the new pals are definitely the headliners of this video, they weren’t the only new content shown off. New environments include a large mushroom forest and a cherry blossom biome that has a peculiar hut. We also got looks at two new guns; a flamethrower and what appears to be a new rifle.
When will the Palworld summer update release?
As of this writing, we don’t have a solid release date for the Palworld summer update. It appears to be a pretty big expansion, though. We would imagine a new section of the world map will be opening, allowing you to find a lot more than just a few pals and environments. PocketPair has said in the past that these updates will be free, so we don’t imagine anything to be on the same scope as what is currently in the game, but who knows, maybe they prove us wrong.
We expect the Palworld summer update to be next shown off at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest event. The show will be taking place on June 7, which is the perfect time to build up hype for this content to be released within weeks of the show. If not there, there is potential for Xbox to have it at their show with the Game Pass connection, but Keighley’s shows are where it was first noticed.
