Rove is a fantasy TTRPG by Addax Games that only recently launched on Kickstarter. It reached its full funding goal of $40,000 in under an hour. With 14 days to go, it already has over $287,000 in funding, with four stretch goals unlocked and more ready to go. In a world set up with a Choice and Consequence system, there is sure to be adventure and peril around every corner.

Rove is a cooperative TTRPG for 1-4 players that will adventure through a campaign, progress their characters, and unlock skills. The game boasts classic dungeon crawling, strategic battles, and branching story paths. The game comes with 50 scenarios. While some of these rules and gameplay are standard to the TTRPG space and will feel easily familiar to fans of D&D or Pathfinder, Rove does offer some unique twists of its own.

The Choice and Consequence system encourages players to be fully immersed in the world. The adventure revolves around the continent of Lalos suffering from a number of perils all at once. Players must choose what they prioritize to deal with. Each threat that is set aside will become more dangerous until it is taken care of. Addax Games promises that the first journey in the game will only show off half of the possible outcomes.

The game also has a Rally and Rave card system. Players have a collection of double-faced cards. Every time a card is played, it (and potentially other cards) will flip in response. This will result in a change of possibilities of what the player and team have at their disposal. This is especially true of character skills, where one side of the card will gather power and the other will unleash it.

Rove comes with a box that has all essentials for the game. Backing at higher levels earns an expansion box with more classes and more quests, a dice kit, miniatures, an art book, and more. The estimated delivery for backers is May 2025.

Make choices and face the consequences by backing Rove before the deadline!
