There are more rumblings around the internet that Lego is finally about to release an official Legend of Zelda set. Originally leaking over a year ago, the set is based on the Great Deku Tree, though what is interesting about it is it can be built like the Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild versions independently.

The Legend of Zelda: Great Deku Tree Lego set details

The latest details about the Great Deku Tree Lego set come from Bricktastic. According to them, the set will cost €299.99, so likely somewhere between $200-300 as well. It is made of 2,500 pieces and will come with four mini-figures: Young Link, Classic (maybe Adult?) Link, Breath of the Wild Link, and Breath of the Wild Zelda. It is reportedly set to release on September 1.

The way that the set works is you decide to build the Great Deku Tree in the style of Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild. The Ocarina version has green leaves, and various grass and Deku Babas around its base. The Breath of the Wild version has pink leaves, is raised from the base a little, and has the Master Sword pedestal and Hestu. If you decide that you want the other version displayed later, you will need to rebuild it in that style.

As mentioned above, images of the Great Deku Tree Lego set have been out before. The images seen in the tweet below match the description Bricktastic gives at first glance. The only thing missing from the images is the Classic or Adult Link figure, but we can see the others.

If all of this information is correct, $300 is quite the price to pay, especially if you are stuck to only one Great Deku Tree Lego style. If we could get two separate sets for half that price, we would be a lot happier. Hopefully, this set won’t be alone, though, and there will be cheaper Zelda Lego options available.
