The Nintendo Music app launches tonight and lets you listen to your favorite soundtracks

After a lengthy wait, you can now finally listen to the Nintendo Music library on your PC with your Nintendo Switch Online subscription. To find Nintendo Music on your PC, just open up a browser and go to music.nintendo.com and sign in with your Nintendo account that is currently subscribed to NSO.

More Nintendo Music Additions

That wasn’t the only addition, as tablet users will also be able to download the app that’s been available on smartphones for a while. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay also now have support, letting you listen to your favorite soundtracks while on the road.

Finally, the last addition to Nintendo Music this week is that Mario Kart World has had various tracks added to the service, including its theme and Rainbow Road, with a slight catch. Free roam tracks still need to be added, but they are coming in the future.

It’s nice to see Nintendo looking to expand on Nintendo Music’s reach. Tablet, car, and most notably, PC support are great ways to listen to this music. Of course, all of this could have been avoided through other means years ago, but now that we are here, it’s nice to have easy access to some of our favorite music finally.

Probably one of the bigger surprises throughout all of this is that there is still no support for Nintendo Music on Nintendo Switch, or at the very least Nintendo Switch 2. An app for the game console would make sense as a location for another way to listen to music, even if you couldn’t play it in the background while you play other games. With Nintendo, you can never really know if they’ll do the thing that makes sense or not.
