With E3 gone the way of the dodo, it appears smaller showcases are the future. One such event is the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase of games taking place this summer. While it’s been around for a few years, 2023’s feature promises many games from the publisher. With summer on the horizon, it’s time to look to at what’s coming next from THQ.

The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase is scheduled for Friday, August 11. Times vary by where you live but its kickoff time is set for 3 p.m. EDT. HandyGames will officially kickoff the event with a pre-show giving players a taste of what’s being worked on.

While it’s not clear just how many games the showcase will include, THQ said to look forward to 70 announcements. That’s quite a lot of games to cover and several of them will be world premieres. As for the ones we do know about, you can expect to learn more details about Alone in the Dark, Outcast 2, and Trine 5.

Alongside the announcement, the publisher also released a video showing a lineup of the company’s featured games. We can speculate on what games may be included during the stream, but again, these are not confirmed. The trailer did show off gameplay from the Command and Conquer-inspired RTS Tempest Rising, so it may be one of the games we’ll learn more about during the show. Other games may include Way of the Hunter and Wreckreation, while AEW: Fight Forever still remains in development limbo.
