Bloodborne Kart will soon be a reality. As posted on X, the PS1-style fan game will officially be released on January 31, 2024. Not only that, but the developer revealed a ton of details about what we can expect in the final product..
As a pleasant Halloween treat, @b0tster on X (formerly Twitter) posted a trailer for the upcoming kart racer. Not only that, they announced that the game will have 12 racers, 16 maps, a single-player campaign mode, boss fights, split-screen multiplayer, and even a VS battle mode. That is a lot packed into a fan project. Of course, it is not surprising considering the developer is Lilith Walther, creator of the popular Bloodborne demake.
The trailer, as seen in the post above, starts with the doll, a prominent figure from Bloodborne that helps you gain levels. After a few shots of various hunters racing the streets of Yharnam, it cuts to the doll standing on top of a winner’s podium. From there, we get to see various mechanics in the game such as hunters drifting, using sniper rifles, and even firing a minigun attached to a motorcycle.
A teaser trailer for the game was released last year by Lilith Wilthers on YouTube. While it was small, it did show some interesting parts of the game. The new trailer is much more in-depth and offers a look at the Father Gascoigne boss fight. It also shows a lineup of racers ranging from the standard hunter, Eileen the Crow, and even Gehrman who flies past racers in his wheelchair.
The ending of the trailer even teased the Moon Presence boss coming down from the sky. This upcoming kart racer is sure to thrill anyone who is a fan of Bloodborne. Get ready to race, good hunter, on January 31, 2024, when Bloodborne Kart launches.
