Disney Speedstorm just released in early access and the devs are already releasing exclusive content for the game. Recently, Gameloft revealed that those who are D23 members will get an exclusive racer sometime this summer. The racer being offered is none other than Steamboat Mickey, styled after his original appearance from 1928. For those who aren’t members, they will need to wait until the racer becomes available for everyone if that time ever comes.
The announcement was made on Twitter yesterday, letting everyone know that the character will enter the game during Disney Speedstorm’s second season. While there aren’t many comments, fans do seem happy to see this version of Mickey again. We have to admit, the retro look suits Mickey much better.

Disney Speedstorm is currently available in early access and is expected to become free-to-play by the end of the year or early next year. Currently, there are 18 racers to unlock and speed down the game’s many tracks with. There are plans to add even more characters in the future, but who they are is a mystery. Perhaps characters from Lilo & Stitch will make an appearance.
