Many had been getting into the Fallout games thanks to the release of the second season of the Fallout television series. One YouTuber is taking advantage of the rise in popularity of the Fallout series to replay Fallout 4, but with various mods thrown in to make things more interesting. What is more terrifying than a Deathclaw in the wasteland? Well, how about Todd Howard tracking you down no matter where you go? That is just one of the mods installed in this positively wacky version of Fallout 4.

YouTuber Runs From Todd Howard in Fallout 4

A popular YouTuber by the name of Blurbs has created a ton of mods for Fallout 4 that make the game much more interesting. Each of the mods featured in the video comes from ideas generated by comments on his videos. For instance, one mod turns Preston into an antagonistic force who appears each time he doesn’t complete a settlement mission within a specified time limit. Preston then becomes an enemy and attacks on sight.

Of course, one of the best mods turns the CEO of Bethesda into an evil force that tracks you down and kills your character if he touches you. For this mod, Blurbs created a cardboard cutout of Todd Howard that shifts slowly in his direction as he explores the wasteland.

If this cardboard cutout ever touches him – which it does quite often – his character instantly dies, all while Todd Howard says, “It just works.” This mod becomes increasingly terrifying when Todd Howard is out of sight, as you never know when he will creep up on you. This mod could make you drop dead in the middle of a conversation because the cutout catches up to you. It makes you constantly stay on your toes, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in the wasteland, but losing your loot certainly is.
