The full Super Mario Party Jamboree character roster is larger than ever before!

Super Mario Party Jamboree is being touted as the “biggest Mario Party yet.” While these games have obviously never been on as a gigantic scale as open world RPGs, they are usually pretty stuffed full of mini-games to play. With a new group of mini-games to fling your joy-con around to and some interesting new boards, we are ready to jump into the fun. Here is the full Super Mario Party Jamboree character roster you can play as.

All playable characters in Super Mario Party Jamboree

There are a total of 22 choices on the Super Mario Party Jamboree character roster. That is by far the largest number of choices the series has ever given you. Don’t expect too many newcomers, though, as Pauline and Ninji are the only ones who are making their Mario Party debuts. Here is the full list:

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Peach
  • Daisy
  • Rosalina
  • Yoshi
  • Birdo
  • Toad
  • Toadette
  • Wario
  • Waluigi
  • Donkey Kong
  • Bowser
  • Bowser Jr.
  • Goomba
  • Koopa Troopa
  • Shy Guy
  • Boo
  • Spike
  • Monty Mole
  • Ninji
  • Pauline

As you can see, there are many mainstays from other Mario games you can choose from this time. Probably the most interesting inclusion is Bowser, who has elements of the game that a giant, purple-outlined Bowser wreaks havoc in. Nintendo is designating this large lizard as the “impostor” Bowser, so that’s why there are two.

Considering that the main board games in Super Mario Party Jamboree only feature four players, having 22 might seem a little overkill. We imagine that the increased roster was so the new Koopathlon mode wouldn’t have so many players choosing the same character.

Mario Party has never had any DLC inclusions in the past for boards or anything, so we would be highly surprised if the Super Mario Party Jamboree character roster is increased post-launch.
