No Marvel superhero has a line of villains as notable as Spider-Man. While there are definitely bigger threats in the universe, these bad guys are pretty well-known because of the hero’s popularity. Insomniac Games is working on expanding and enhancing its version of these characters, so you can expect quite a few to show up in Spider-Man 2. As you probably have noticed, there is quite a good number of returning villains that first appeared in the 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man game. Black Cat will surely appear randomly in Peter’s life for the rest of his Spider-Man career, so it’s not necessarily a shock that she is here. As for the Sinister Six members of Mr. Negative, Scorpion, and Vulture, as with many bad guys in comic stories, they are broken out of their jail sentences to play an immediate role in the story yet again.
Post-credit scene villain in Spider-Man 2
In addition to the list of characters that appear during the main gameplay of Spider-Man 2, Doctor Octavius, or Doctor Octopus, also returns during the post-credits scenes. Obviously, this is more of a hint for the series’ future, and he doesn’t have a boss fight or anything.
