Is AC Mirage open world?

Assassin’s Creed Mirage returns the series back to the days of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in many aspects. In some ways, the way it handles its achievements and trophies can feel similar to those days. Of course, there are main story activities to do, but many of these tasks also have you perform various maneuvers in the middle of the game. This is the case with the Gifted Escapist achievement/trophy that has the description, “Collapse 20 scaffolding structures.” Here is how to get the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gifted Escapist achievement/trophy.

How to collapse scaffolding structures in AC Mirage

To collapse scaffolding structures and get the Gifted Escapist achievement/trophy in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you just need to be near them and press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation. These wooden structures lean up against walls and have some pieces of cloth and rope on them. When you interact with them, Basim will grab a rope and yank the structure down to the ground, blowing up a puff of dust in the air, and nearby civilians will run away.

As you might have guessed from the Gifted Escapist name, pulling down a scaffolding will give you a good chance to escape if you have guards immediately around you. The dust will momentarily confuse them, allowing you to climb or run away and find a hiding spot to get rid of your notoriety. Sometimes, you can also pull them down to reveal a new way to get into a building by slipping through a hole in the wall behind it.

We recommend just playing the game like normal and pulling scaffoldings down whenever you see them. You don’t have to be in combat or anything to do them; just walk up to them and press the right button to do it. If you want to get this achievement/trophy out of the way quickly, you can also respawn the scaffolding by fast traveling to a nearby viewpoint and then going to where the scaffolding was before. After you do this 20 times, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gifted Escapist achievement/trophy is yours.
