How to infiltrate the Winter Palace with Nehal in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
The first method of infiltrating the Winter Palace is simply following Nehal. She knows the way in and it is a much simpler path and one that you don’t need to search for on your own. Her location is marked on the map by an assassin hood symbol.
While following Nehal, you will climb up the outside of the palace on the southern side. She will warn you about guards and ask for help getting into specific areas. After following Nehal for a while, you will get an objective that reads, “A palace guard holds the key.” You will now need to search for a guard holding the key.
How to find the alternate entrance to the Winter Palace in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
The alternate entrance is one that you will need to find on your own as it won’t appear on the map. To find this entrance, head to the northern part of the palace. When you get close to the entrance, it will get marked on your map with a small door and stairway symbol.
To reach this area, you can head north across the roof of the palace like we did, or you can follow the wall that heads north and then east. Either path will take you to where the entrance is located. There is a guard blocking it so make sure to pay attention to your surroundings.
How to get the Winter Palace Key in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
To obtain the key, you need to spot the guard that is holding it. Activate your Eagle Vision and you will see a key symbol over a guard in the central courtyard. This guard will walk clockwise around the courtyard while three other guards will walk in the opposite direction.
Time things so that the guards aren’t looking at one another as you walk up and pickpocket the guard with the key. The perfect time to grab the key is when the guard with the key, goes to sit at a desk on the right side of the courtyard. Once you get the key, bring it back to Nehal and open the door. You have successfully infiltrated the Winter Palace.
