Are you on the hunt to find Citrine or Shiny Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Dreamlight Valley has many different materials for you to gather. Some of these previous items are used to complete quests while most are used to craft beautiful decor to decorate your valley with. Often, you will be asked by residents to track down different gemstones in order to complete a friendship quest.
The difficult part about tracking down gemstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley is that they are each unique to a specific biome. Each biome in the game only contains certain gemstones so you can’t just get them anywhere. This guide will show you where to mine Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to get Citrine and Shiny Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Citrine and Shiny Citrine can only be found in the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau biomes. This gemstone is easy to spot thanks to its bright orange hue. It is the only orange gemstone in the valley so it is hard to mistake it for something like a Garnet, Ruby, or Topaz.

You can easily spot gemstones when they are sticking out of the Rock Spots around the various biomes. If they aren’t continue to mine the Rock Spots until you see the gemstones appear. Rock Spots take around five minutes to respawn, making gemstone mining pretty quick, especially if you are doing it in multiple biomes.
Luckily, Citrines appear fairly often in these two biomes so you shouldn’t have trouble collecting a few of them. If you need extra help, assign one of your residents to the mining role and have them join you. You can also increase your chances of getting gemstones by mining while you have the well-fed bonus. Both will allow you to easily collect gemstones without needing to go back and forth between the biomes for a long time.
