Are you ready for the Skull and Bones open beta? Are you ready to fight other pirates on the high seas? There is plenty of progress to be made in the game but does beta progress carry over? That is a question that many are wondering. It makes sense to ask about the beta. After all, you don’t want to put in a ton of work if you get nothing for your effort.
Many betas offer rewards for your participation or for progressing a certain amount. Since this is the first and only open beta for Skull and Bones, many are excited to get their hands on it before the game releases on February 16, 2024. So does beta progress carry over in Skull and Bones?
Does progress from the open beta carry over in Skull and Bones?
Yes! Your beta progress does carry over in Skull and Bones. Of course, there is a limit placed on this. You will only be able to progress so far during the beta, and you will only get to keep your progress leading up to Infamy Brigand (Tier 6, Rank 1). Once you reach this tier, you won’t be able to progress any further but everything you did will be saved for the game’s full release.
The information about the beta was confirmed in the recent open beta trailer that Ubisoft released. It was also confirmed on the official Skull and Bones website. On top of keeping your progress, the game does feature cross-progression. This means that it doesn’t matter what system you play the beta on, you will get to keep your progress on whatever system you purchase the game on.
The beta also features rewards that you can obtain for the full release. These include the Basilisk I Culverin canon, ship cosmetics, a pet lemur named Cookie, and the sign language emote.
